The invitation

The kitchen opens on the eighth.

A small room, an open kitchen and a menu we have been cooking for our families for years. Come and eat the first service with us — there is no seating plan, only a long table and whoever arrives.

What we are cooking

The opening menu

To begin
  • Muhammara — walnut, pepper, pomegranate molasses
  • Labneh under olive oil, za'atar picked in Ajloun
  • Flatbread, straight off the clay oven
From the fire
  • Lamb shoulder, slow-roasted over freekeh
  • Sumac chicken with charred onion
  • Aubergine, burnt and dressed with tahini
To finish
  • Almond and orange-blossom cake
  • Rice pudding, pistachio, rose
  • Cardamom coffee

Served family style. Everything is made in the room you are sitting in.
