The invitation
On the twelfth we open the doors of the Nawa house and take the covers off the first collection — twelve pieces, made within forty kilometres of where you will be standing. Come early, stay late, and please touch everything.

Countdown
The story
Nawa began in a rented garage in Marj Al-Hamam with one lathe, a borrowed kiln and a stubborn idea: that a house in Amman should be able to furnish itself from Amman.
For four years we made things one at a time, for people who asked. This collection is the first we have made before anyone asked — twelve pieces in olive wood, brass and unglazed clay, drawn here and finished by hand within an hour's drive of this room.
The house we are opening was a printing press until 1998. We kept its floor, its windows and its name over the door, and we would like you to be in it on the first night.

The evening
Everything below is for the people in the room on the twelfth, and nobody after.
Bring the invitation; the number on it is yours.
Dress
Come as you would to a friend's house, dressed for a good evening. If you would like to echo the room: unbleached linen, olive, clay and old brass.
The upper floors are stone — heels are a brave choice.

The house holds ninety comfortably and a hundred and ten uncomfortably, so we are counting. Tell us and we will put your name on the door.
