Dar El-Zeitoun

A Palestinian heart inside an old Damascene house — olive, arches, and a courtyard fountain.

Palette

The Brief

A warm, cinematic wedding invitation for a Palestinian diaspora love story — two hearts from the land of the olive who found one another across the sea, marrying in a Syrian restaurant styled like an old Damascene house, fountain and all. It opens with a tap-to-open envelope film — a coral wax seal breaks, an olive sprig slips out — into a courtyard-and-fountain video hero where the couple's names reveal in Arabic calligraphy. From there it unfolds through a 'from Palestine to America' invitation, an Our-Story timeline, a live countdown, an arched-frame photo gallery, a framed venue feature with an Open-in-Maps button and an embedded map, a day programme, a travel & accommodations guide, a dress code with a coral-and-olive palette, a gifts note, and a built-in RSVP — closing on an olive tree beneath a tasteful Al-Aqsa silhouette. Coral, blush and apricot warmth grounded by olive green, warm plaster, and mother-of-pearl gold, with ogee arches, olive-branch dividers and star-inlay ornaments throughout. Arabic-first bilingual EN/AR with Aref Ruqaa calligraphy.
