The Swan

The Brief

A pale, luminous invitation built on one image: a pair of swans on still water, and everything reflected in it. It opens on a filmed envelope strewn with white feathers and closed with a pearl swan wax seal — a tap opens it, and the film hands over to a hero that pushes slowly in through roses and swans until it settles on a gilt picture frame, where the couple's names appear inside the frame itself and grow with it. From there it moves through a framed invitation card headed by a painted swan-and-wreath crest, a live countdown set inside a gilt cartouche, three dated chapters of how they met, a drifting photo strip, the venue with an embedded map, an evening programme held inside a floral frame whose timeline draws itself, a dress code with the palette in swatches, a quiet note about gifts, and an RSVP — closing on the crest and its own reflection. Interlocking rings, an oval swan medallion and an urn of flowers break the page between sections, and feathers drift over the whole thing. Swans keep one companion for life, which is rather the point. Designed for weddings, engagements and anniversaries that want restraint rather than opulence.
